General Information

ReBuilding Center

ReBuilding Center is a climate justice nonprofit organization. We make reuse and repair affordable for all, reduce waste and wasteful consumption, and make the best use of our planet’s limited material resources.

Shop Our Reuse Store:
Our 30,000 sq. ft. store is full of donated reclaimed building and home improvement materials at affordable prices for your project and repair needs. Come shop with us!

Build Your Skills:
We empower students to develop practical building and repair skills through a wide range of fun, hands-on classes. We are currently offering virtual seminars and in-person classes.

Donate Your Materials:
Bring your materials through our alleyway drop-off area from during store hours. Enter from the south end (Fremont), just west of Mississippi Ave.

Volunteer With Us:
Over 2,000 volunteers help us build community resilience through reuse every year. Whether helping with class prep in the shop or de-nailing in the store, we’ve got plenty of opportunities to fit your interests.

Support Our Work:
Your tax-deductible donation helps ensure that people and materials, particularly those perceived as liabilities and often cast aside by society, are instead respected and valued as assets. We thank you!

Request Materials:
Does your community-oriented organization or school have a project in the Portland Metro region you need materials for? Fill out a quick form to request a donation of used building and remodeling materials.
