General Information

The Salvage Shop by Preservation Burlington

Alamance County's Premier Architectural Salvage Store

The first of its kind in Alamance County, Preservation Burlington created The Salvage Shop to save “house parts” from going into the dumpster and to give them new life. Old doors, windows, trim, window weights, flooring, mantels, door hardware, plumbing fixtures, period furniture & light fixtures are just some of the items can be found at our architectural salvage store.

Donations Accepted:
Donating items couldn’t be easier! If you can’t bring it to the store, we will come to you! We can even bring a volunteer crew by and “uninstall” the donated items from your home to ensure the items aren’t broken during removal. Exclusive Sale Events: Our public sales events are the first Saturday of each month. Private shopping appointments are also available upon request.

Volunteer:
Rolling our sleeves up, putting on work gloves, and getting a little dusty is our idea of a good time! Is it yours too? We'd love to have your help at the shop!
